Testrium
ActiveA full-stack test case management platform — plan, execute, and report on test runs with JIRA integration, bulk operations, and an automation API, built for QA teams rather than solo scripting.
The problem
Test case management is either a spreadsheet that nobody trusts past a dozen rows, or a heavyweight enterprise tool that treats a small QA team like an afterthought. Neither gives you a straight line from “here’s a test case” to “here’s the run, the result, and the bug it filed.”
What it does
Testrium covers the full loop: organize test cases with detailed steps and expected results, execute them individually or in bulk with real-time status tracking, and multi-select results for bulk updates when a whole suite needs the same disposition. A failed execution can create a JIRA bug directly from the result, test data is centralized with environment-specific configuration, and reports export to PDF or Excel with charts built in. Role-based access keeps who-can-do-what explicit as a team grows.
Built for automation, not just manual testers
A RESTful automation API lets CI pipelines push results into the same system manual testers use, so a suite doesn’t need two separate places to report to depending on who — or what — ran it.
