About

Engineer, writer, and a permanent student of the craft.

I'm Saddam Hossain, a software engineer with over eleven years in quality automation. What started as writing tests became a deeper interest in how software is designed, built, and kept maintainable — the architecture underneath the features.

Today I work across Java, Python, AI and machine learning, Kubernetes, and system design. I build in the open — including Selenium Boot, an automation framework — and I learn by shipping real projects rather than collecting tutorials.

Gyan Code is where I write it all down: the engineering notes, research, and lessons from building software. Writing something down is how I find out whether I actually understand it, so most of what's here started as a note to myself.

What you'll find here

The site is organised around how the material is meant to be read rather than when it was written.

  • Writing — articles and engineering notes, in reverse-chronological order.
  • Tutorials — longer reference material, grouped by topic and ordered to be worked through.
  • Interview Guides — QA and automation interview questions with short, simple answers.
  • Projects — what I build in the open, and the problems each one exists to solve.

If you'd rather not check back, new articles go out overRSS.
